Two women constables from the Border Security Force (BSF) Academy in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, who had been missing for over a month, were located in Kolkata, West Bengal, police confirmed. The mother of one of the constables, a Jabalpur resident, reported her daughter missing, alleging that she was taken by a colleague to West Bengal.

Superintendent of Police Dharmveer Singh stated that a missing person complaint had been registered, which led to the ongoing investigation. A Gwalior police team traveled to Kolkata to record statements from the two constables.

The constables clarified that they had traveled to West Bengal on their own accord, and no serious crime was found related to their act. The BSF will decide on any necessary actions based on the circumstances under which they went to West Bengal.
