Eight-Year-Old Girl Rescued from Delhi After Alleged Abduction
An eight-year-old girl from Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, was rescued in Delhi after being allegedly abducted. The accused, Shankar Lal, was arrested, and the girl was safely returned to her family. The rescue operation was facilitated by CCTV footage and was completed within 24 hours.

An eight-year-old girl allegedly abducted from Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district has been rescued from Delhi, police said on Sunday.
The accused, Shankar Lal, 26, was arrested during the rescue operation in the national capital's Kashmiri Gate area, according to a police spokesperson.
The girl, originally from Chhattisgarh and currently residing in Katra, was reported missing from Katra market on July 11, prompting a case to be lodged under relevant laws.
Recognizing the urgency, Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police Mohita Sharma formed a special team to locate the girl, the spokesperson added.
Following CCTV footage and technical assistance, her location was pinpointed in Delhi.
A special team was dispatched to Delhi, successfully rescuing the girl within 24 hours and returning her to her family after completing all legal formalities.
