Odisha Governor's Son Allegedly Assaults ASO, Transfer Follows

Baikuntha Pradhan, an assistant section officer at Puri Raj Bhavan, has been transferred to the Home Department following allegations that he was assaulted by Odisha Governor Raghubar Das’s son. Despite the severity of the claims, the governor's office has refrained from commenting on the matter.

Baikuntha Pradhan, an assistant section officer at Puri Raj Bhavan, has been transferred to the Home Department. This move comes after allegations surfaced that Pradhan was assaulted by the son of Odisha Governor Raghubar Das.

According to an official order, Pradhan, who had been working with the Parliamentary Affairs Department and deployed to the Governor’s Secretariat, has now been reassigned to the Home Department with immediate effect.

Pradhan's wife, Sayoj, recently alleged that her husband was physically assaulted by Das’s son and his associates on July 7 at Raj Bhavan, Puri. The governor's office has yet to make a statement concerning these allegations.
