The registration of eligible voters for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections will be completed by July 31, according to officials on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal announced that voters have until the end of July to register for the elections of members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Board.
The schedule from the Director Panchayati Raj and Commissioner Gurdwara Elections Himachal Pradesh indicates that the preliminary publication of handwritten manuals will occur from August 1 to 20.
Lal stated that claims and objections concerning the names, posts, and addresses published in the preliminary list must be submitted to the concerned revision authority by August 21, with the final deadline for submission being September 11.
The district election officer has urged eligible voters in the district to complete their registration for the SGPC elections by July 31. The SGPC governs the management of gurudwaras in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh.
