Shocking Murder in Baghpat: Contractual Employee Stabbed by Colleague

A 35-year-old woman named Shobha, a contractual employee of the electricity department in Baghpat, was allegedly murdered by her colleague Ankur. The incident occurred while Ankur was dropping Shobha home. A case has been registered, and Ankur, along with two unknown individuals, is in police custody.

A 35-year-old electricity department employee was fatally stabbed by her colleague in Baghpat, officials reported on Friday.

The suspect, identified as Ankur, has been detained and the weapon used in the crime apprehended, stated Circle Officer Baraut Saviratna Gautam. According to allegations by Shobha’s husband, Kuldeep, Ankur attacked Shobha while giving her a ride home on Thursday evening. The car was pulled over en route, leading to the fatal assault.

Shobha served as a contractual employee in the electricity department in Bhagpat, authorities confirmed. A formal case has been lodged against Ankur and two unidentified accomplices.
