Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Aids Assam with Rs 2 Crore

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Sunday that Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has extended a Rs 2 crore aid for flood-affected individuals in Assam.
Sarma expressed his gratitude towards Soren and the people of Jharkhand for their generosity.
''Hon'ble CM of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren Ji, has graciously offered Rs 2 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Assam to support those affected by the floods,'' Sarma posted on X.
''On behalf of the people of Assam, I deeply appreciate the generosity of the kind-hearted people of Jharkhand and the Hon'ble Chief Minister,'' he stated.
Floods, landslides, lightning, and storms have claimed at least 113 lives in the state so far.
Over 1.30 lakh people across 10 districts remain affected by the disaster.
