Algeria Condemns France Over Western Sahara Autonomy Recognition

Algeria on Thursday voiced "great regret and strong denunciation" of the French government's decision to recognize an autonomy plan for the Western Sahara region under Moroccan sovereignty, according to a statement from the Algerian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry emphasized that Algeria will draw all the results and consequences that stem from this decision and will hold the French government alone fully and completely responsible, the statement added.
