On the eve of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, CDS Gen Anil Chauhan affirmed that the sacrifices made by soldiers in the 1999 war will not go in vain, emphasizing that the tri-services are on the threshold of significant reforms.

In his message to all ranks of the armed forces, Gen Chauhan highlighted the range of upcoming reforms spanning from organizational and structural to conceptual and cultural dimensions.
