Uttar Pradesh's Path to Good Governance: Yogi Adityanath's Commitment to Law and Order

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the 'rule of law' is essential for good governance in Uttar Pradesh, citing a zero-tolerance policy toward crime. His comments came during the Governing Council Meeting of the NITI Aayog, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Adityanath highlighted special efforts aimed at the welfare of women and girls and noted that the state's commitment to law and order has significantly improved its image both nationally and internationally. He pointed out that Uttar Pradesh has become a leading state for ensuring punishment for crimes against women, with no organized criminals left outside prison.
During the meeting, Adityanath also outlined Uttar Pradesh's various achievements and its vision to realize Prime Minister Modi's dream of a self-reliant and technologically advanced India. He lauded the state's robust law-and-order system, business-friendly policies, and its new status as a prime investment destination.
In a separate note, Adityanath invited Prime Minister Modi to the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh in January 2025, assuring that preparations for this once-in-12-years holy event are nearing completion.
