Joint Operation in Gurdaspur: Heroin and Pistol Seized

In a coordinated effort, the Border Security Force (BSF) along with the Punjab Police apprehended two individuals following the seizure of a pistol and 540 grams of heroin. The joint operation took place in Gurdaspur, officials confirmed on Saturday.

Acting on intelligence provided by the BSF, the raid was executed at residences in Agwan and Rasulpur villages. A BSF spokesperson stated that the operation led to the confiscation of a heroin packet wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, with a nylon loop attached, suggesting a drone delivery.

The operation marks a significant step in curbing illegal activities along the border, highlighting the effective collaboration between the BSF and Punjab Police.
