Delhi Water Minister Atishi has ordered the chief secretary to convene an urgent meeting after complaints of blue foam water emerging from taps in Peeragarhi surfaced.

A statement revealed that the situation was brought to attention through a video circulating on social media showing blue foamy water flowing from the taps. Highlighting the urgency, it mentioned, ''This might be just the tip of a larger underlying issue and could result in serious future consequences. This needs immediate attention.'' The minister instructed the chief secretary to call a meeting with all relevant senior officials urgently, the statement read.

''The chief secretary is directed to hold a meeting with senior officials, act against polluting units, and submit a detailed report by Monday, July 29, 5 pm,'' it concluded.
