Iran Warns Israel Over Lebanon Incidents

Iran cautioned Israel against initiating new confrontations in Lebanon, responding to Israel's accusations that Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based group backed by Iran, was responsible for a deadly rocket attack. The attack occurred in the Golan Heights, leaving 12 dead. Hezbollah has denied involvement.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani warned Israel against any 'new adventure' in Lebanon.

The warning comes after Israeli authorities accused Iran-backed Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group, of launching a rocket attack that resulted in 12 deaths at a football ground in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Despite these accusations, Hezbollah has denied any responsibility for the deadly strike, while Israel has vowed a severe response to the incident.
