Punjab Police Busts International Drug Network, Recovers Over Rs 1 Crore
The Punjab Police have dismantled an international drug network, arresting two individuals and seizing over Rs 1 crore in cash. The accused were linked to foreign-based smugglers. A case has been registered against the handlers and operatives for running an organized crime syndicate.

The Punjab Police on Sunday announced a major breakthrough in their ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking, revealing they had dismantled an international drug network.
In an intelligence-led operation, authorities arrested two individuals and recovered over Rs 1 crore in cash, according to Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.
''The operatives were working for top foreign-based drug smugglers Gurjant Singh Bholu and Kinderbir Singh alias Sunny Dyal,'' Yadav disclosed in a post on X. The State Special Operation Cell, Amritsar, has filed a case against the handlers and operatives for their involvement in an organized crime syndicate, seizing Rs 1.07 crore in drug money, a money counting machine, a car, and two mobile phones.
