Gurugram Police Foil Dacoity Plot, Six Arrested

Gurugram police arrested six individuals allegedly planning a dacoity near Bar Gurjar village. The accused, Manish, Saurav, Sunny Nagar, Abhishek alias Goli, Nitin, and Gaurav, were caught Sunday night. Authorities recovered stolen motorcycles, a pistol, an iron rod, and other items. They are currently on remand for further questioning.

Gurugram police arrested six people on charges of planning a dacoity in a village, officers announced on Monday. The suspects, including Manish, Saurav, and Sunny Nagar, were apprehended Sunday night near Bar Gurjar village after police intercepted them at the scene.

The operation followed a tip-off regarding the alleged dacoity plot. Upon approaching the suspects, they attempted to flee but were quickly captured by the officers. Among the items recovered were two stolen motorcycles, a pistol, an iron rod, two sticks, a torch, and Rs 1000 in cash.

ACP Manesar Vipin Ahalawat stated, 'We have taken all six accused on a three-day police remand after presenting them in court. They are now being questioned in-depth about other possible co-accused and incidents.'
