On Monday, Merseyside Police reported arresting a 17-year-old male suspect on charges of murder and attempted murder. Nine other children were injured, six critically, alongside two adults who remain in critical condition.

Armed police apprehended the suspect and confiscated a knife at the scene. Authorities have ruled out terrorism as the motive and are not seeking additional suspects in connection with the incident.
