Security Forces Launch Massive Search Operation in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir initiated a cordon and search operation in response to reports of suspected terrorist movement in Poonch district. The operation, involving Police, Rashtriya Rifles, and CRPF, is ongoing. Suspected terrorists in black attire were last seen heading towards lower Pangai, with further searches conducted in neighboring districts.

Security forces have initiated a significant cordon and search operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district following reports of the movement of two suspected terrorists.

The armed suspects, dressed in black, were spotted late Monday night in Salampura village near Dehra Ki Gali. In response, Police, along with the Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF, launched a joint operation immediately.

Despite sightings of the suspects moving towards lower Pangai, no contact has been made so far. Additional searches were carried out this morning in Sanai, Jangal, Pattan, Surankote in Poonch, and Bangar-Saroor forest in the Kishtwar district.
