The Minister highlighted a Rs. 1 Lakh Crore budgetary allocation for the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (NRF) to drive private sector-led research and innovation.
Encouragement for Space Technology StartUps:
The Minister underscored the success of private sector partnerships in the Space StartUp sector, urging Raj Nehru to promote space technology StartUps at the university. Dr. Singh expressed the government's ambitious plan to expand the space economy fivefold in the next decade through a ₹1 lakh crore Venture Capital Fund (VCF).
Industry-Academia Linkage:

Raj Nehru invited Dr. Singh to inaugurate the newly established Centre of Excellence at the university, which was laid out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
