In the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Friday called for legal action against schools in certain Jharkhand areas observing Friday as a weekly holiday instead of Sunday.

Dubey emphasized that there is no such directive from either the Centre or the state government. He urged the Central government to prosecute district magistrates responsible for this practice.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Yogender Chandoliya raised concerns about the deplorable conditions at Asha Kiran, a home for the mentally challenged in Delhi's Rohini area, where 14 deaths, including 13 adults and one minor, have been reported within a month.
