Tragic Electrocution Incident in Uttar Pradesh

A couple in Uttar Pradesh died after being electrocuted by a fallen high-tension wire. The incident occurred in Musajhag area. The victims, Dev Pal Singh and his wife Meena Devi, were returning home on a motorcycle. Police and local authorities have assured government assistance to the family.

A couple met a tragic end after being electrocuted by a high-tension wire in Musajhag, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday, according to police reports.

Dev Pal Singh (52) and his wife Meena Devi (52) were riding home on a motorcycle when the wire fell on them, causing instant death.

Sub-district magistrate Sukhlal Verma stated the couple was charred beyond recognition due to extreme heat and overloading that caused the power line to break. The electricity department has been informed, and government assistance has been promised to the family.

Disturbingly, passersby recorded videos without attempting to rescue the couple, police noted. Authorities controlled the fire upon arrival, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
