A New York judge suspended Justin Timberlake's driver's license Friday during a virtual court appearance on Long Island.

Timberlake, who pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated, was arrested on June 18 after allegedly running a stop sign and veering out of his lane. His attorney, Edward Burke Jr., maintains Timberlake was not drunk.

“The facts remain he was not intoxicated,” Burke stated, confident the charges would be dropped. However, Judge Carl Irace suspended Timberlake's license and warned Burke about making inappropriate media comments. Next court session: August 9.
