Retired MTNL Mechanic Stabbed to Death in East Delhi

A 72-year-old retired MTNL mechanic, Gautam Thakur, was brutally stabbed to death at his New Ashok Nagar residence in East Delhi on Saturday morning, confirm police sources.
Authorities were alerted to the crime by a PCR call made by Thakur's elder son, Mukesh Thakur, prompting an immediate response from the local police and crime team.
During the investigation, it was discovered that all family members were home at the time of the incident. Thakur's son reported seeing two men leaving the house shortly after the murder, which is now under verification. Officers are currently scrutinizing area CCTV footage, and an FIR has been lodged.
