A case has been registered against two individuals for allegedly recording a video inside a police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, police revealed on Sunday.
The video was filmed at the Hiranagar police station on Saturday and subsequently shared on social media platforms.
Ravi Prajapat and Yuvraj Gurjar, the accused, were summoned to the police station regarding a case of atrocities against a Scheduled Caste member, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotiya informed reporters. They were instructed to hand over a baseball bat used in the assault.
While the police staff were occupied, Prajapat and Gurjar recorded a video holding the bat and shared it with their friends, leading to its viral spread online.
A case has since been filed against the accused, as confirmed by the official.
