Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district have apprehended two suspected terrorists, as announced by officials on Monday. The suspects, identified as Zubair Ahmad and Hijaz Nazir, were arrested in Awantipora.
During the operation, two pistols and other incriminating materials were seized from the duo's possession. The arrests follow a rigorous crackdown on anti-terror activities in the region.
The operation took place on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, a significant date marking the end of Jammu and Kashmir's special status within the Indian Union.
