Six-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Temple Pond

A tragic incident unfolded in the Alipur area as the body of a missing six-year-old girl was discovered in a pond within a local temple on Monday.

The girl's parents, who had returned home from work to find her missing, reported the incident to the police. They learned from neighbors that their daughter had gone to the temple with another young girl. The second child returned, but the six-year-old did not.

Following an extensive search, authorities found the girl's body at 10 a.m. at Dada Buddhe ka Mandir's pond in Budhpur. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar Singh, there were no visible injury marks on the body. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to rule out the possibility of sexual assault.
