A 23-year-old tea seller was killed in Uttar Pradesh's Kila Adda area following a dispute over a polythene bag, police confirmed on Monday.
Authorities, led by Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kamlesh Bahadur, arrested suspects Tarun, Farukh, and Gulab late Sunday. A manhunt is ongoing for additional suspects.
Tensions escalated when locals and the victim's family staged a protest, demanding the arrest of remaining culprits, a government job for the kin, and Rs 50 lakh compensation.
