Man Arrested in Gwalior for Posing as Minister's Secretary, Two Police Inspectors Suspended

A man in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested for impersonating the personal secretary of Union Minister Giriraj Singh, a senior official revealed on Monday. Two police inspectors were suspended for seeking transfers through the accused's recommendations.

The man, identified as Pushpendra Dixit (Sharma) from Tekanpur, was caught by the Gwalior Crime Branch. He posed as the minister's secretary under the alias Jai Kishan, facilitating employee transfers, including in police departments.

Dixit forged documents, acquired fraudulent mobile SIM cards, and sent messages to senior officials for these transfers. An investigation is ongoing to uncover if more individuals were duped by his impersonations.
