In a significant crackdown, police in Latur district unearthed 72 illicit liquor brewing units on Tuesday, arresting individuals involved in the illegal activity. The special drive aimed at curbing the rampant production of unlicensed liquor, a police official reported.

A total of 72 cases have been registered against 73 individuals at various police stations. This suggests a coordinated effort to dismantle the illegal operations across the district.
