On Tuesday, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj accused the health secretary of filing a false affidavit in the High Court regarding infrastructure deficiencies in Delhi's government-run hospitals. Bharadwaj claimed this was part of a conspiracy aimed at trapping him and defaming the elected government.

No immediate response came from the health secretary, but LG Secretariat officials quickly dismissed Bharadwaj's assertions. They alleged the minister made false statements to mislead both the public and the judiciary.

Bharadwaj announced plans to write to the Law Department seeking strict action against the health secretary and the Standing Counsel of the ‘Services’ Department. He emphasized that procedural lapses, including bypassing his approval, were evident in the handling of the affidavit.
