Terrorist Manhunt Intensifies in Jammu and Kashmir

A search operation for terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district continues into its second day, with more reinforcements deployed. Authorities conducted joint search efforts in Basantgarh alongside a similar operation in Rajouri district following reports of terrorists' movement, one of whom was injured during a recent encounter.

A massive joint operation by the police, Army, and CRPF is ongoing in the Pathi Nalla Khaned area of Basantgarh. Brief contact with the terrorists was made late Tuesday.

Authorities believe the terrorists are still hiding in the forest. Additional forces were sent in the morning to expand the cordon and neutralize them.

In a separate incident, security forces launched a search in the Diyar Gala forest in the Kalakote area of Rajouri district. This followed information about the movement of two terrorists, one reportedly injured.

Officials stated the injured terrorist was involved in a recent encounter in Gunda village but escaped. The combing operation continues to trace the two suspects spotted in Diyar Gala.
