Escalation in Gaza: New Evacuation Orders Amid Renewed Rocket Fire
Israeli forces have issued new evacuation orders to Palestinians in northern Gaza amid renewed rocket fire from militants. Israeli tanks and airstrikes have targeted various locations, resulting in several casualties. The conflict continues as both sides engage in aggressive actions, with significant civilian impact.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces issued new evacuation orders for Palestinians in northern Gaza, areas heavily impacted at the start of the war with Hamas in October. This move follows a fresh volley of rocket fire into Israel by militants.
Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee communicated the evacuation orders for districts in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya through text and social media. He warned residents to evacuate immediately to shelters in Gaza City for their own safety.
The conflict has continued unabated. An Israeli airstrike in Al-Tuffah, Gaza City, killed three Palestinians. Ten more were killed in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, in two separate strikes. The Israeli military has intensified its operations, hitting weapon-making facilities in Deir al-Balah and refugee camps in central Gaza. Militants reported ongoing ambushes and limited rocket fire into Israel.
