In a shocking turn of events, the prosecution has alleged that blood samples in the Kalyani Nagar Porsche crash case were tampered with to establish that those involved were not under the influence of alcohol. According to the prosecution, Dr. Shreehari Halnor, despite being well-aware of the forensic consequences, replaced blood samples on the instructions of minor driver’s parents, Vishal and Shivani Agarwal, and Dr. Ajay Taware.
Special prosecutor Shishir Hiray revealed that Dr. Halnor received Rs. 2.5 lakh for his involvement in the incident and manipulated samples to avoid alcohol detection. The hospital was allegedly part of a larger effort to substitute the minor's sample with those of his mother’s, and similar plans were laid for the minor’s friends, although not entirely successful.
The scandal has cast a shadow over the hospital's credibility, as well as the legal standing of the accused. The prosecution continues to present compelling evidence, with more arguments expected next Monday.
