The Delhi Police Special Cell confirmed on Saturday that they have arrested a 29-year-old gang member from Rohtak, Haryana, belonging to the infamous Himanshu Bhau’s gang.

Identified as Vicky alias Sonu, the suspect was on the run since April, wanted in three cases involving the Arms Act and an attempted attack on a police team. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Manoj C reported that Sonu has a criminal history linking him to five previous cases, encompassing murder and attempted murder in Haryana and Delhi.

Sonu is reportedly an active operative under Himanshu Bhau, who has fled to Portugal and Spain and is facing over 50 charges. On Friday, based on specific intelligence, the Special Cell team, led by ACP Sanjay Dutt, laid a trap and successfully apprehended Sonu despite his attempt to escape.
