Belarus' Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian charge d'affaires on Saturday, following President Alexander Lukashenko's claims that a dozen Ukrainian drones had been shot down, according to Russia's Tass news agency.
The Belarusian ministry insisted that Ukraine take comprehensive measures to prevent future airspace violations, citing concerns over escalating regional tensions.
Tass reported the ministry's press service as saying, 'The Belarusian side demanded that comprehensive measures be taken to rule out any such future incidents in the future which could lead to further escalation of the situation in the region.'
