Governor Kataria Promises Strong Collaboration for Punjab's Development

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday emphasized a synergistic approach for the advancement of central development projects and welfare schemes in Punjab. Speaking at a review meeting with senior IAS officers, he pledged to act as a bridge between the Centre and the Punjab government to ensure the state's development.

Kataria, who also serves as the administrator of Chandigarh, directed officers to work collectively to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach their intended beneficiaries. He assured his participation in facilitating this process.

The governor further announced that regular review meetings would be conducted to oversee the progress of development works and welfare schemes. He urged officers to fix times for public dealings and to remain in continuous contact with central officials for swift approval of development proposals. Kataria added that he is prepared to provide support in overcoming any obstacles that may hinder project clearances.
