Maoists Arrested with Weapons in Palamu District
Two Maoists were arrested in Pahi village, Palamu district, Jharkhand. Police recovered several weapons from their possession. The arrested individuals were identified as Prashiddha Parhaiya and Daulat Yadav.

In a significant operation, police in Jharkhand's Palamu district arrested two Maoists on Tuesday evening from Pahi village. The operation, led by SP Reeshma Ramesan, successfully apprehended Prashiddha Parhaiya (27) and Daulat Yadav (30).
Authorities recovered numerous weapons, including guns, pistols, and traditional arms, from the suspects.
The arrests mark a critical step in the ongoing efforts to curb Maoist activities in the region, SP Ramesan said on Wednesday.
