Delhi Police Heroes Honored with President's Police Medal on Independence Day

Eighteen Delhi Police personnel will be awarded the President's Police Medal on Independence Day. Two officers will receive the medal for distinguished service, while 16 others are recognized for meritorious service. Notable recipients include Joint Commissioners Atmaram Deshpande and Suman Goyal, known for their outstanding contributions in various high-profile cases and initiatives.

Eighteen Delhi Police personnel are set to receive the prestigious President's Police Medal on Independence Day, authorities announced on Wednesday.

Among the honorees, Joint Commissioner of Police Atmaram Vasudeo Deshpande and retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Shashi Bala will be distinguished for their exemplary service.

In addition, Joint Commissioner of Police Suman Goyal, recognized for her innovative use of IT in women's safety, and Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Garg, alongside 14 other officers, will be commended for their meritorious service.
