Addressing the media after hoisting the national flag at the Supreme Court, Chandrachud remarked that Independence Day serves as a reminder of the duties citizens owe to each other and the nation, in alignment with constitutional values.
His observations come in the wake of reports of attacks on Bangladesh's minority Hindu community following political turbulence. Emphasizing solidarity, Chandrachud wished his best to the nation, emphasizing the reflection of ordinary citizens' struggles in judicial work.
