Tragic Family Altercation: Father Accused in Toddler's Death

An alleged violent altercation in Balotra district of Rajasthan has resulted in the tragic death of a ten-month-old infant, while his two-year-old brother remains critically ill. The police report that the father, Suraj Bawri, 30, has been charged with murder after an argument with his wife escalated into violence on Wednesday night.

Authorities indicate that Bawri, reportedly inebriated, assaulted his two young sons with kicks and punches. The younger child, Akash, succumbed to his injuries, whereas the elder son, Kamal, is currently receiving urgent medical care.

Following his wife Parvati's filing of an FIR, the police have taken Bawri into custody. The incident has left the local community in shock and has raised urgent concerns about family violence under the influence of alcohol.
