A chilling discovery in Maharashtra's Thane district has prompted a full-scale investigation. Authorities reported finding the body of an elderly man stuffed inside a suitcase in an isolated area near Varap village in Kalyan taluka.
The gruesome find came to light on Thursday, when a passerby stumbled upon the suitcase while attending to a personal matter. Out of curiosity, he opened it and discovered the remains of a man aged between 60 and 70 years.
Police and sniffer dogs were swiftly dispatched to the scene, and the body was sent to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. An investigation is currently underway to unveil the mystery surrounding the incident.
