Man Jumps into Yamuna River

A 29-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Yamuna river from Okhla Barrage in the presence of his sister and brother-in-law. The incident took place on Wednesday, and the body was recovered on Thursday with the help of divers. The police are investigating the reason behind the suicide.

A tragic incident occurred at Okhla Barrage when a 29-year-old man, in a desperate act, leapt into the Yamuna river, according to local authorities.

The police reported that Deepak Chauhan from Delhi's Ali village jumped into the river on Wednesday. His sister and brother-in-law were present and tried to stop him, but their pleas went unheeded.

Station In-Charge Bhupendra Baliyan revealed that the body was recovered on Thursday with the aid of divers. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the motive behind this heartbreaking incident.
