Executive Engineer Murdered in Uttar Pradesh; Police Launch Probe

Santosh Kumar, an executive engineer with Uttar Pradesh's Water Corporation (Rural), was tragically murdered at his residence in Vinobapuri on Saturday, police confirmed.

Four police teams have been mobilized to investigate the incident, and preliminary findings indicate it was a murder.

According to police reports, Kumar's driver discovered the assault upon returning to the house with food. The perpetrators fled, and despite neighbors' quick response to the driver's screams, Kumar was pronounced dead at the district hospital.
