Tragic Discovery at Under-Construction School in Bihar: Woman and Daughter Found Dead

In a tragic discovery, a 32-year-old woman and her daughter were found dead at an under-construction school building in Bihar's Saharsa district on Sunday, police confirmed.

The grim finding near Ramjanki Chowk occurred around 9:30 AM, raising alarm in the local community.

Superintendent of Police Himanshu stated that initial evidence suggests the victims were killed with a sharp object. Senior officers and forensic experts reached the site promptly, gathering all possible scientific evidence. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations.

A special investigation team (SIT) has been assembled to thoroughly investigate the case. Addressing concerns of sexual assault, the SP revealed a medical board is probing this angle, although preliminary findings show no signs of such an assault.
