Security Forces Uncover Major Terrorist Hideout in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir discovered a significant underground terrorist hideout in Rajouri district, revealing a cache of daily use items and ammunition. Joint efforts of the police, Army, and CRPF led to the find. Operations continue as terrorists managed to escape prior to the search.

Security forces Tuesday busted a major underground terrorist hideout in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, recovering a large quantity of daily use items and some ammunition, officials said.

The well-built hideout was unearthed during a cordon and search operation by a joint party of police, Army, and CRPF at Sagrawat forest in the Darhal area of the border district, the officials stated.

A police spokesman highlighted that the underground hideout was camouflaged with soil. The search uncovered a range of items including four cooking gas cylinders, six empty AK rifle magazines, one pistol magazine with 13 bullets, and other supplies. However, no arrests were made as terrorists escaped before the operation began.
