Pakistani Forces Neutralize Insurgents in Baluchistan

Pakistani security forces killed three insurgents involved in the recent assassination of a senior government official in Baluchistan. The Baluch Liberation Army, responsible for the attack, has ties with the Pakistani Taliban. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the efforts and vowed to eliminate terrorism.

Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized three insurgents implicated in the assassination of a senior government administrator. The military reported the operation took place in Baluchistan's Mastung district.

The three men killed were members of the outlawed Baluch Liberation Army, responsible for the August 12 assassination of Deputy Commissioner Zakir Baloch. The group had also claimed responsibility for the attack ahead of the nation's Independence Day.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for avenging Baloch's killing and reiterated the government's commitment to eradicating insurgency from the country.
