The tragic update came soon after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken concluded his latest peace-seeking visit to the Middle East, with no tangible ceasefire in sight.

Despite diplomatic pushes to halt the ongoing 10-month conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Israeli military confirmed targeting around 30 locations in Gaza, including tunnels, launch sites, and observation posts. Amidst this, the military reported eliminating dozens of combatants and confiscating weapons like explosives, grenades, and rifles.

Further intensifying the situation, the Israeli forces struck a school and a house in Gaza City, resulting in four fatalities and 15 injuries, many of whom were children.
