Heightened Tensions at Ukraine-Belarus Border

Ukraine's foreign ministry reported an increase in Belarusian military forces and equipment near its border under the guise of drills. The buildup includes tanks, artillery, air defense, and engineering equipment, with special operations forces among the personnel.

Ukraine's foreign ministry announced on Sunday that Belarus is concentrating a significant number of military forces and equipment near the border with Ukraine, citing military drills as the reason.

The ministry revealed that Belarusian special operations forces are among the personnel positioned at the border.

Included in the buildup are tanks, artillery, air defense systems, and engineering equipment located in the Gomel region, adjacent to Ukraine's northern frontier.
