The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in significant casualties, with numerous civilians, including children, being killed in recent Israeli airstrikes across Gaza. International efforts to mediate a cease-fire are underway, while humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate, with limited aid access and severe displacement exacerbating the crisis.

Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip have resulted in the death of at least 14 people, including seven children, according to Palestinian officials. The Civil Defense, under the Hamas-run government, reported that three children and their mother were killed in an airstrike late Monday in Gaza City's Tufah neighborhood.
Another strike in downtown Gaza City claimed the lives of a child, three women, and a man, as per the Gaza Health Ministry. Additionally, a strike early Tuesday in southern Gaza killed five people, including a man and his three young children, according to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
International diplomatic efforts are underway to broker a cease-fire, with US Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen CQ Brown meeting Israeli defense leaders to discuss de-escalation and humanitarian aid. The conflict, which began with a Hamas-led assault on Israel, has drastically reduced the humanitarian zone in Gaza, displacing hundreds of thousands and restricting necessary aid.
