Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Warns Criminals, Pledges Law and Order Overhaul

In a stern warning, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday urged criminals to reform, affirming that his administration was prepared with stringent measures if necessary.
Majhi blamed the previous BJD government for the surge in crimes, asserting that the current law and order situation in Odisha was under control.
Addressing the assembly during a debate on Home Department grant demands, Majhi highlighted the state's readiness to hire 3,000 police personnel and 2,298 home guards, supply new vehicles to police stations, and strengthen coastal patrolling to prevent infiltration.
