The incident caused panic and triggered a comprehensive search operation in the vicinity.
While no casualties have been reported, the area was cordoned off by army personnel and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police for a thorough investigation. The incident is reminiscent of a February 2018 attack on the Sunjuwan military camp that resulted in the deaths of six soldiers, a civilian, and three terrorists.
