Pakistan Army Vows to Eradicate Terrorism Amid Rising Attacks
The Pakistan Army, through its spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate terrorism with precise operations. Over 32,000 intelligence-based operations were conducted this year, leading to significant militant casualties. Major security concerns in Balochistan and nationwide terror incidents were also addressed.

The Pakistan Army, represented by Inter-Services Public Relations chief Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, emphasized its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in a press conference held in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
Chaudhry revealed that a total of 32,173 intelligence-based operations have been carried out this year, with 4,021 in the past month resulting in the elimination of 90 Taliban militants. He also disclosed that security forces conduct more than 130 operations daily to maintain national security.
Discussing the situation in Balochistan, Chaudhry condemned the terrorist attacks of August 26, which were allegedly orchestrated by internal and external enemies. He stressed that while significant progress has been made in the region's development, the narrative of deprivation is still exploited by certain elements. He further mentioned the ongoing efforts to neutralize militants targeting development projects and infrastructure.
